I was very much intrigued by this product as I
have to watch my sugar levels so a sugar-free
lube got my attention. It really DOES NOT have
any sugar in it or even any aspartames. The
contents are as follows - water, glycerine,
hydroxyethl-cellulose, sodium benzoate, citric
acid and natural flavour.
The big question - DOES it taste like
watermelon? Surprisingly, it does, with a
slight fizz pop aftertaste I can't put my
finger on. However, it smells like berries not
watermelon.
It has a nice, cool, smooth gliding feel to the
lube and a little goes a long way so need to
order spares. The 100ml bottle makes air travel
requirements for the globetrotters out there.
It measures up at about 14cm in height and 4cm
in diameter so it won't be hard to find under
the sheets but maybe a bit cumbersome for your
wash bag.
Getting your hands on it is standard procedure
- easy to open with a simple pull of the
plastic perforated tear strip. The lid has to
be popped off with a little more vigour and
when you close it you have to snap it back on
with a bit of downward force. But I do have
little hands so I am sure for the guys out
there this would not be an issue. The pump
action is smooth and you can rotate it to a
lock position when not in use. You also do not
need to repeat the pump action desperately for
delivery of your nectar as it is fairly instant
and rather generous with its effusions.
Despite its feel and awesome glide factor the
one drawback is that any residual lube becomes
rather sticky fairly quickly and when I was
finished I felt like I was a sticky lollipop. A
happy lollipop but a sticky one which meant I
was thinking more of getting up and getting it
washed off than laying back and enjoying my new
found bliss. So unless your partner plans on
licking you dry you will be counting the
seconds before you can hit the shower!
Post-bliss my sugar levels were not affected so
I can support its claim to being sugar free.
A great idea to have a sugar-free lube that
DOES NOT claw your tongue but it needs more
work on the residual after-effect which is
rather sticky and not very Fruitopia. |
